Brains are Computers? Computers are Brains?

I thought this article, which is originally from Livescience.com, but which I found on Yahoo's news reel, was interesting.  It's kind of amazing how many arguments about science rest upon analogies like this one between the brain and computers.  

But now I have my answer as to why I don't have hallucinations while I am asleep (oh wait, I thought those were called dreams?)...

Also, if you didn't see this during the superbowl, this Alec Baldwin ad for hulu.com is classic.  But also relevant to our course theme, and therefore up for analysis for blogs 4 or 5 if you'd like to do so.
